New Crystal Oracle Deck

My Crystal Ally Deck

Clear Quartz - Clarity
Citrine - Manifestation
Amethyst - Divine Connections

So far things are going great with this oracle deck. I used it for one 1-card self reading this morning and last night for a 1-card group reading. Both felt true and the message came through clear. I look forward to working with this deck more and more.

The Crystal Tarot

New Tarot Deck!
The Crystal Tarot by Philip Pemutt

I LOVE the back of these cards. Such a pretty crystal grid. And of course, its purple, my favorite color.

Marjor Arcana cards The World (quartz) and the Wheel of Fortune (amethyst)

Minor Arcana card 2 of Wands (carnelian

Pretty excited about this deck. Only downside so far is that the cards are pretty thin and flimsy and the author repeats some stones for the minor arcana and the major...

New Crystal Companion: Araceli

This is my new crystal companion, Araceli.
The name means altar in the sky. When I was interested in the name of this friend I got a definite "air" feeling and that there was an "ah" sound to the name.
Then meditated with is and had an image of sitting on the edge of a clif, wind blowing in my face, deep cavern below, and the sky all around me like I was floating in a sacred place in the sky.
Araceli means "altar in the sky." I thought it was appropriate.

Another amazing thing about this crystal, which I didn't notice until after I bought it, was that there is a tiny angelic being image in it.

I don't know if you can see it but there is a head, wings and even a bit of a halo around this being that can only be seen through this side of the crystal (and not on the opposite side at all)

Very excited about this crystal companion. You can also check out a previous post to see my other crystal comapnion, Aysu

Crystal Working Terms

Hello all,

I've been reading up on Crystals lately and I was wanting to go a bit more in-depth in my studies other than just simply this stone in this color has this meaning. There are a ton of books out there about that, I recommend Judy Hall's books, she's awesome, but I needed to know more (there's the Raja yogi in me).

So I've been watching Hibiscus Moon on Youtube, and if you don't know Hibiscus Moon and are into stones and crystals at all you should check out her site and her vids! She's amazing.

In crystal articles and some videos certain terms started popping up for me (probably because I'm finally ready to learn more and eager to listen) - terms like "key" and "Isis face" and "record keepers." I kept hearing them come  up and finally decided to dig deeper into this crystal mine.

Thankfully, I didn't have to go too far as Hibiscus Moon has videos on all of these terms. I figured I'd share them here in case you too were wanting to learn more:

Record Keepers (I am now on the look out for some record keepers at my local shops)
And HERE is a video on how to Open and Close Records and how to use them from UnderWorldClassroom.

Keys (I have attracted a couple of these unknowingly and I love the feel of them on my fingers when meditating. I originally thought it was just a tactile relaxation thing but now I know better)

Lemurian Seeds (and the difference between seeds and star seed and pink lemurian)

Phantom Crystals (turns out I attract a lot of these randomly enough and didn't know it until I watched this video and looked at my crystals)

Rainbow Crystals (Plug into the energy and feel the rainbow)

Cathedral Lightbraries (and the crystal featured here is just beautiful! For those of you interested, you can commission HM to look for crystals for you and tell her the features you want, the type of crystal, and your price range and she will give you a hand.)

So there's a few vids for you all to answer some questions I was asking and you might be too.

Also, in my crystal research I took HM's recommendation and bought The Crystalline Transmission by Katrina Raphaell and the book is not for a light reader, I must say. This is a book that you might want to take in spurts or tuck up with some tea, a blanket and your favorite meditation quartz and read for a while when you won't be interrupted. There is A LOT of info in this book. I haven't finished it as I just bought it but I'll try and remember to post my reflections and what not later when I do finish.

Crystal Blessings

Basic Herbs 102

Hello readers,

As some of you may remember, I did a series of blog posts a while back on 10 basic herbs that I was learning about in my lessons on Witch School, taught by my mentor Rev. Sherry Cooper.
I am now taking her second herb class, Basic Herbs 102 and, like the last group of blog posts, I will be going over the 3 herbs I learn in each lesson and giving you spells and formulae that I learn outside of the course. I will not be giving course information as it is a free lesson and any of you can easily log into Witch School and sign up for the Basic Herbs 101 and 102 classes yourself and any info I put on here will simply be redundant.
If you have not read my previous blog posts, please check out the lesson 10 post which has links to all of the previous ones. With that, let's begin!

A picture I made of Dandelion on Polyvore
Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)

Medicinal Uses:  Used as tinctures, extracts & capsules. Stimulates bile production and helps with digestive disorders.
Dandelion reduces swelling and inflammation.
It may help with gallstones.
Women’s health has benefited from the use of dandelion for menstrual problems.

Magickal Uses:  Divination, wishes, calling spirits

Dandelions are some of the simplest magical tools, and many of us have been using them as such since we were children and are a great way to teach other children the basics of spells.

When the dandelion's go to seed, their heads become puff-balls of little parachuted seeds ready to take flight. Pick them, make a wish and blow and, much like birthday candles, if all of the seeds go in one puff of air, your wish will come true.
Another way to work with this is, supposedly, if you blow on a puffed head, the number of seeds you have left is how many years you have left in life.
To tell the time, blow on the dandelion head three times and the hour will be shown in the number of seeds left.
To send a message to a loved one, blow the seeds in his or her direction with the message in mind.

Dandelion's are herbs of Jupiter, the Sun, and Leo as well as the element of air and the tarot card Strength. Use this herb on the altar when you've need of any of these energies as it is sometimes easier to grab a dandelion from the front lawn than it is to collect another representative item.

According to Karen Harrison in her book The Herbal Alchemist's Handbook:
The root brewed in a tea brings psychic impressions and dreams.
Adding dandelion to an herbal amulet for abundance increases financial acumen and opportunity.

Honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica)

Medicinal Uses: acute rheumatoid arthritis, mumps, hepatitis, respiratory, high fever, throat infections, boils, nettle rash, food poisoning, urinary tract, antibiotic, diuretic.
Flowers aid in breast cancer

Magickal Uses:  Money, psychic powers, protection
Crush flowers and rub on third eye to heighten your psychic powers
Grown near home symbolizes good luck.

I have used honeysuckle flower water (1 pint with 1 tsp of witch hazel for preservative) as a facial wash for beauty and to aid in Faery glamour magick.

According to Scott Cunningham in his Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs:
Ring green candles in honeysuckle to attract money, or place them in a vase in the house for the same purpose.

According to Harrison:
The use of honeysuckle in any herbal formula brings increase and energy.
Honeysuckle can be used to gently protect (great for children)

Pictured is a bottle of honeysuckle ink that is pink and gold. The creator, Gilded Quill, states of the ink:
"This colorful bottle of pink ink shimmers with gold swirls. It has been hand mixed with the sweet scent of Honeysuckle, a favorite of Hummingbirds! This ink would be good for use with metal or glass nibbed pens.
Honeysuckle is a beautifully sweet and floral scent. In aromatherapy it can help memory and recollection as well as generate emotions of happiness.
In color magic, pink is for happiness, fun and romance.
Gold is for illumination, wisdom, and wealth."
I think this ink would be perfect for good luck magic as well when used to write out your intended goal and carried with you through the day to help achieve it.

Solomon's Seal (Polygonatum biflorum)

Medicinal Uses: In Chinese medicine it was used for heart disease, tuberculosis, dry coughs, and gastric problems.  It’s used externally for broken noses and hemorrhoids.
Used to stop profuse menstruation and is also used as a laxative.
Said to be an aphrodisiac.

Magickal Uses:  protection, exorcism

According to Harrison:
The name of the plant was given when the root was cut transversely and that the characters shown looked to be Hebrew letters. Legend has it that Solomon set his seal on the plant in testimony of its medicinal and magickal powers.
Solomon's seal helps to physically manifest the energy and dreams of the practitioner.

According to Cunnngham:
This root is placed in the four corners of the house to guard it...it is also used as an offeratory incense.

Pictured is Solomon's Seal root sold through Etsy at Occult Supplies.
"(ONE SOLOMON SEAL ROOT IN OIL IS ALSO INCLUDED)
Used for protection, exorcism and cleansing. Used to drive away evil/negative spirits.
To increase wisdom and make wise decisions; for success; for protection.
Solomon's Seal Root is named after King Solomon who was reported to have kept demons confined in a jar by means of a miraculous seal. Therefore it is looked upon as being a very powerful protector and is used to banish demons and ward off all known types of evil. It is good to sprinkle the root in front of the outer doors to your property and along window sills to protect family and home.
Solomon's Seal is also widely used for bringing success to all financial matters making it an excellent choice for business owners etc..
Perfect for adding to mojo bags / poppet dolls / making magickal oils / cleansing ritual tools, Love potions."

Tansy (Tanacetum vulgare)
Poison

Medicinal Uses: enema for round & thread worms in children, topical crèmes for scabies, lice and fleas.

Magickal Uses:  Health, Longevity.

According to Cunningham:
Since this plant was given to Ganymede to make him immortal, tansy is carried to lengthen the life-span.

According to Harrison:
Tansy's connection with the Goddess makes it a perfect herb to bless a young girl's first menses and to gift to a woman at her Croning.

Super Moon Magick

Blessed Summer Solstice and Super Moon my friends!

I celebrated with friends and my beloved husband and girlfriend and made Magic Melons punch from Patricia Telesco's The Kitchen Witch's Cookbook with a few variations

Magic Melons
Melons were especially popular in Renaissance Europe, carefully carved for the deast table. The fruit was originally introduced from the East through Italy. In the Koran, one of the fruits which will be served to deserving Moslems on the day of judgement is melons.

Magical Attributes: Things coming into abundance, full moon magic, joy.
Celebrations: Birthday of the Moon, harvest festival, Feast of the Milky Way...and now, The Summer Solstice Super Moon!

The recipe (with my variations):

1 half of a seedless watermelon, diced
1 half of a Golden Melon or honeydew melon, diced
1 half of a cantaloupe, diced
1 tablespoon vanilla syrup
a few handfuls of crushed ice
gingerale

Blend the melons, vanilla syrup, and ice until smooth.
Pour into cups 2/3 full, then fill with ginger ale.

Sipping this melon potion, I collected the things i would need for the super moon -

Aysu - my quartz crystal that has a water energy in her. I will be setting her out to be cleansed and empowered.
A mason jar of clean water to create a super moon potion for later creations.
and a few other selections of stones and crystals for later projects.

I hope you all have a blessed Super Moon!

Been Busy: A Picture Blog Post

I've been super busy for the past while and thought I'd post a fun picture update.

Here is a protection and healing altar for my girlfriend. You can read about the healing and protection grid I did on my new website HERE
This is a gift I was recently given by my dear Aunty Flanna who uses it for divination. This table has a specific style set up for it using the 4 elements as well as 4 aspects - Death or Change, Time, Chance, and Love. It was part of a Collection of  New Divination Tools from her.
I've been using the table also to do my Wheel of the Year readings as there are 8 sections. It works perfect.
My new Sekhmet Matron Deity Altar featuring 2 figurines that I received also from my Aunty Flanna.
A healing altar for a dear friend of mine. It is still in place and if you would like to send love, light, reiki, prayers too it I would appreciate it.
A travel altar for my girlfriend who is currently in the lower 48 to visit her godson and his family.
Just a little glimpse at my library in my newest bookcase.

Some books on tarot and oracle decks.
Books of shadows.

I hope you've enjoyed this little glimpse at my life and what I've been up to.

Much love

A Short History of the Sacred Circle in Two Forms

The Wheel of the Year, The Mayan Calendar, the May-pole dance, the Earth itself – all of these things represent a circle or sphere in sacred form.

All cultures have a form of sacred circle in their mystical, religious and metaphysical teachings. Native Americans have Sacred Circle Wisdom also known as The Great Hoop or The Web of Life. The Mayan calendar is the oldest known record of time and is based on sacred numbers and sacred space. Other cultures use the space for sacred circle dance, the lineage of which can be traced through Shakers, Sufism, traditional witchcraft, heathenism, and other forms of paganism.

Two Forms of Sacred Circle
There are two main types of magic circles used.  Those formed by ceremonial magicians are designed to protect the magician from the forces that he or she raises.  The Ceremonial magician would choose his Spirit to summon, and align all aspects of the ritual with the desired energy. Using a pentacle to help focus the ritual’s energy, the magician would invoke the spirit, and seek to compel it to do his or her bidding. To do this the magician would create the Sacred Circle (usually three circles, 9, 10, and 11 feet in diameter) which he or she would stand outside. This was for the Magician’s protection from the spirit that would be contained within the space. The magician would stand inside a Triangle to magnify his or her own power. Modern Ceremonial magic and its use of the sacred circle can be traced back to the 16th century in most texts, while others say that it goes back much further.

Sacred Circles formed by witches and wiccans, are mainly used to create sacred space in which to meet and commune with Deity. Many witches refer to the sacred circle as “a place between worlds.” It is a space that is between the world of the mundane, where the focus is on the physical, and the “other world” or astral plane, where the focus is on the spiritual. Unlike the Ceremonial circle, witches stand inside their circle. However, like the Ceremonial circle, the witches’ circle is also meant to contain – not a spirit but the spiritual and magical power raised by the practitioners.

“Having a Circle”
The Sacred Circle of the Witches does not have a clear historical beginning. References to circles can be found in many ancient texts and among various religions. The use of the term circle can also refer to a meeting, wherein magical practitioners would come together in a circle of bodies, standing to meet on various magical aspects, events, sabbats, etc. This form of sacred space, created merely out of the presence of witches, has very little written history at all but can be guessed to go back to the dawn of man since, when humans gather around a fire for community and sacred blessing of light, it is in the shape of a circle.

My Spring Altar

I thought I would share with you all my Spring Altar

Lace altar cloth I thought gave it a lightness that Spring brings to mind. The flowers in the bowl on the left are wild flowers and roses that my husband has gathered for me in the past and I have dried.
Fairies called out to me for this altar so they have a few items added. There is of course a picture of a blue fairy resting on and surrounded by bubbles or crystal spheres. The other fairy item is the wand on the right side of the altar - it is actually a pencil that came with my fairy journal and I thought it made the perfect want for me as I am a writer.
Other items on the altar include a small blue, glass chalice; butterflies, which you can read more about in my post on Found Objects; stones including Amethyst, Fuchsite, and Rhodochrosite; a photo of a statue of a woman that reminds me of the Goddess in her maiden form; behind the photo is a ceramic candle holder in the shape of a Doric column holding a lavender candle; and a crystal grid seen below.
The crystal grid is made up of 8 quartz crystals, 1 Alaskan Jade, 1 green Flourite, 2 green Aventurines, and 1 Citrine in the center. I did not choose these stones with any intent in mind. Instead, they called to me when I began to go through my crystals for my spring altar. The square design just felt right. above the grid you can see the larger quartz crystal point that I used as a wand to activate the crystal grid.

Spring is a time of new beginnings, rebirth, and especially when you're in Alaska, like me, it's a time of sunlight. The days will grow longer until I have almost 24 hour sun.
This is also a signal to start planting. I have a small indoor window garden that I will take pictures when they start sprouting.

Love and Light and Blessed Spring.

G is for Gold

Gold

Gold is Alaska's State Mineral.

It is the metal of the Sun and is therefore associated with the Sun Deities such as Apollo and Ra.
Gold still holds that place in the hierarchy of metals and their magickal properties. Not least because Gold is said to reflect and show the inner beauty of those that wear it.

Physically, Gold is said to stimulate both the skeletal and circulatory systems as well as being extensively used in matters relating to the skin.
Jewelry made from gold is said to bring pain relief, especially from arthritic or inflammation discomfort.

In magic, Gold is most known for its use in Wealth and Abundance magic. Even the color Gold is said to bring these energies into a spell. Gold also is associated with drawing in knowledge, represents power within, and is use in spells that effect authority figures.

Happy Ostara!

Happy Ostara Everyone!

Today is an especially wonderful sabbat for my family as it is the anniversary of the handfasting of Damon and myself.
For some reason we didn't get a really good photo of the blanket and altar set up but  you can see part of it in the background here - offering bowls, flowers, water, etc.

Me holding the chalice of milk

Damon in his rirual robe looking a lil pouty as he hates having his picture taken.

Ostara Correspondences
Incense: Jasmine, Rose
Decorations: Yellow Disk or Wheel, Coloured Egg's, Hare Decorations, Spring Flowers
Colours: Yellow
This marks the Spring Equinox. This is the Pagan "Easter" - or rather, this is the day that Christians borrowed to be their Easter. It is traditionally the day of equilibrium, neither harsh winter nor the merciless summer, and is a time of childish wonder. Painted eggs, baskets of flowers and the like are generally used to decorate the house.
For more information about the Wheel of the Year and how Ostara plays in it check out my essay HERE.

F is for Found Objects

Tinker Bell and the Fairies call them Lost Things, the Correllian Tradition calls them Found Objects.

In Lesson 4 of the First Degree program at Witch School, Found Objects are explained:

"Found Objects are lucky in general and are always appropriate for your altar. They are symbolic messages from Spirit, and knowing their meanings is an ancient art. This can be an excellent way of receiving spirit messages, or omens, and you will lean more about it in Lesson XII. This doesn't mean just anything you find, of course, but rather things you happen across in unusual ways or in unusual places or that "speak to" you. Putting found items on the altar helps to strengthen your bond with the altar."

Here are some of the Found Objects I've collected over my years of practicing witchcraft:

These two beautiful butterflies I found in the same month. Both were dead upon finding them and both I nearly stepped on when walking around our old house. I was so amazed at how in-tact they were and have kept them in a jar on my altar to Deity ever since.

I found this Hag Stone on the beach last year. Hag stones or holey/holy stones are said to be gifts from the Fae and if you look through the hole, you can see through the veil between worlds.

There have been many other found things in my life not shown include crow feathers, bits of quartz imbedded in river rock, various beads and fake flowers, etc.

I hope this blog post gives you a new perspective - especially if your a parent whose child has a tendency to show you "junk" that they've found. It could be special to them, or a message from the Divine.

Gem and Crystal Haul!

I went to a place in Anchorage called Grizzly's Gifts with my buddy visiting from KY over the week and got a ton of crystals and was so excited I had to show off. I'll be using some of these in the Free Group Reiki Healing Session tomorrow (if you want in on this, send me your name to add to the list of those receiving healing energy HERE)
Some of these I had only heard of in passing so I'll share a lil metaphysical info with you all about each of them and maybe some insight on what I will be using these darlings for.

 Fuchsite
This photo does not do this stone justice. It is an emerald green color with metallic look so that is flashes in the light. I was drawn to this piece almost immediately upon entering the store even though I had never heard of it before. I later learned that Fuchsite is a stone for healers as it helps remind them to care for themselves rather than focusing on others all the time.
Other properties of Fuchsite:
  • Provokes the joy of the inner child in us
  • Focuses its action on the immune system.
  • It is a stone of protection
  • Leads our health into improvement and our material situation into abundance.

 Black Kyanite Wand
I was really excited to see this wand. I had worked with blue kyanite before but never seen black. The reason why I think that this wand is so cool is that it is actually 2 black kyanite fan formations that have grown together to form what almost looks like a double terminated wand!
Black Kyanite's metaphysical properties include:
  • Works with all Chakras, focusing most on the Root Chakra.
  • Is both Grounding and Energizing
  • It is often used to also explore past-lives, and also to anticipate how current actions effect future lives.
  • Helps to open the lines of communication between people
  • Aligns all layers of the aura
  • Kyanite transmits and amplifies high-frequency energies, making it a great stone for attunements, meditation, and dream-work.

 Amethyst cluster and tumbled
I am sure most readers are aware of Amethyst. I will be using these two particular stones in March 16th's Reiki Healing Session for its healing properties as it has always been a fantastic general healing stone for me, especially when it comes to healing through natural or energetic means.
 Blue and Gold Tiger's Eye
Tiger Eyes are stones that I've had my own eye on for a while now, since dedicating myself to Sekhmet as my Matron deity. These are stones that associate with her - gold or red tigers eye for her wrathful nature or red magic and blue for her healing nature.
 My New Chakra Set
From Left to right (top to bottom) Amethyst for the Crown Chakra, Sodalite for the Third Eye, Blue Lace Agate for the Throat Chakra, Green Aventurine for the Heart, Yellow Jasper for the Solar Plexus, Orange Carnelian for the Sacral Chakra, and Hemitite for the Base or Root Chakra.
 Hemitite
Another common stone in the realm of magic, I collected these Hemitite pieces to help me with some Root Chakra healing/opening/grounding and plan on working with them in some Chakra crystal grids.
Rough Rhodochrosite and Tumbled Rose Quartz
While Rose Quartz is well known in the world of crystal magic for its properties of love and compassion, I was excited to come across Rhodochrosite! This is a stone that has many similar properties to rose quartz and makes an excellent companion or substitution if need be. I especially like Rhodochrosite's ability to aid in matters of self-love and self-worth.
 Blue Cat's Eye
Much like the blue tiger's eyes, I bought the blue cats eye for its connection to Sekhmet and particularly her healing energies. Cat's eye is a traditional a good luck stone. It is associated with intuition, awareness, optimism and confidence. Cats eye is also believed to turn negative thoughts into positive energy.
Goldstone
While not a mineral or gemstone in the natural sense, goldstone is actually man-made. However it is beautiful, one of my favorite 'stones' to look at and it does had metaphysical properties. Because of its man-made nature it is a stone of Alchemy and used to represent the process of turning lead into gold.
 Alaskan Jade
Alaskan Jade is a darker green stone than Chinese Jade. I think Metaphysically the only differences are that while both are used for the Heart Chakra, Alaskan jade for its darker and denser nature might be better used for physical imbalances of the Heart Chakra while Chinese might be better for emotional imbalances.
 And here's the whole set!
I had so much Fun! Be sure to check out my new website North Star Attunement March 16th for pictures and video of my Crystal Grid for the Free Reiki Group Healing Session.

Love and Light and Crystal Blessings!

E is for Eostra Eggs

Hello my Pagan Blog Project readers!

Ostara, one of my favorite sabbats, is coming up soon so I wanted to dedicate this post to one of the most popular activities of this holiday - Egg dying and other Egg projects.

Why the Egg?

Eggs are a symbol of life.
For humans, we can't really see a child in the womb. We simply see the mother growing larger as she creates the child.
In an egg, however, birth looks like a miracle. The mother doesn't nourish the fetus like with mammals. One can only imagine what early man thought when comparing human and mammal birth to birds and reptiles as he watched a baby duck or snake hatch from an egg.

Eggs in Myth

In Greek Orthodox Christianity, a legend of Christis resurection involving Mary Magdalene explains the origins of the Easter Egg: Mary Magdalene went to the emperor of Rome, and told him of Jesus' resurrection. The emperor's response was along the lines of "If he has truly risen, then these eggs are red." Suddenly, the bowl of eggs turned red, and Mary Magdalene joyfully began her ministry of Christianity to the emperor. (Patti Wigington)

This story is interesting when considering older uses of Eostra Eggs.
In England and Northern Europe, eggs were often employed in folk magic when women wanted to be blessed with children. Spring is a time for fertility and its magic not only upon the land but among the people and animals that live in that land.

Egg Hunts

Some believe that Egg Hunts have a darker connection to the Witch Hunts in England in which children were paid in candy or coin to look for eggs in spring that were decorated and hidden and the owner of the property on which that egg was found was put on trial for witchcraft. (wickedbones)

I cam across a ton of amazing ideas for egg-dying this year.

Silk Tie Tye-Dye
This idea can be a little pricey unless you luck up and fin some silk ties or scarves at the thrift store. However, the outcome can't be beat - the designs on the these eggs are fabulous!

Leaf Dye-Eggs
I have no clue as to what this website says or even what language it is in...but the eggs are adorable!
This is also a great alternative to artificial dye and colors and a way to do Ostara/Easter organically.

Lavender and Lilac Eggs
While not a how-to dye eggs, this blog post (also in a language I cannot understand) gives me a great idea for Ostara decorating. I would love to create a lavender and lilac altar for the day. Beautiful!

Marbled Eggs
A how-to marble eggs with shaving cream! Genius and this blog shows that even kids can get in on the fun!
I'm just thinking of all the color combinations that could go on with this - orange and yellow and red for the spring sun; pinks for the maiden; and of course, my favorite purples!

Ordained

I know that a lot of people look at ordinations through the Universal Life Church, because it really does only take a second, a little weirdly. However, I applied for ordination because I truly feel it is a step on my Life Path towards my True Will calling. I am happy to be a minister of a church that accepts all people of all faiths, all creeds, all customs.

Metamorphosis Coaching Session with Mette Muller

Saturday, I listened to/watched a webinar called “5 Steps to Creating Your Sacred Business” by the Metamorphosis Coach Mette Muller. The webinar went along with some other things I’ve been reading and working on in regards to Sacred Business, Sacred Money, Sacred Economy and trying to figure out where I stood in this concept and where my business stood in it as well.

The webinar was amazing and if you hurry you can also get a download of the webinar HERE before it closes on Wednesday. If you have missed it, there is another webinar by Mette on Feb. 28th about Inner Work and Healers and their businesses.

While I really want you to go and listen to the Webinar if you can, I also want to share some of the key points that really stood out to me:
First, I love the term Spirit-prenuers. It makes me think of Spirit-pursuers, which I think is what we all are, in a way. Mette also defines Sacred Business as “Spiritual-based, Purpose-driven Business.” I LOVE That!

A little later in the Webinar she talks about the 4 Freedoms and one of those that really stood out to me was Freedom of Following My Intuition and Inner Guidance.

This was a matter that came up at my last 9-5 job that didn’t work out. A customer came in, and we got to talking. Turns out this man has cancer. I don’t know why he felt the need to tell me this (I was working at a Lighting Gallery so it wasn’t like I was in a shop where cancer was a common theme). I think he told me this because I  had something to tell him. I told him I had studied natural cancer treatments and I gave him a few sites to go to and people to look up. He was so GRATEFUL to have met someone who could talk to him about his cancer that didn’t automatically pity him or look at him like he was already on his death bed. Instead he met me, a person who gave him an idea, a direction when even his own doctors were giving up on him – and I was a Stranger, a receptionist in a lighting store!

I mention this because my Intuitive Guidance here got me into trouble that day. I was pulled aside by a higher up and reprimanded for “standing around” and “chit-chatting” with a customer. I felt horrible! I felt like not only were they saying it wasn’t ok for the customers to talk to me or me to talk to them but that the store could care less that their customer was a sick man who was simply looking for something to help him out. It was a painful notion.

It was then that I knew I wanted to work somewhere where my intuition and inner guidance was valued. If I needed to step aside and talk to a customer or a friend-to-be about what is going on with them, I wouldn’t be reprimanded, I was would acknowledged that my actions and words were helpful and appreciated. So this Freedom is one that really stuck out to me in the webinar.

The rest of the webinar all stuck out to me and spoke to my core. Mette give a roadmap to creating a business structure that really gets you where you need to go with details that I haven’t even seen in books on business building. She talks about fears and emotions around money and work, childhood and parental imprinting, and how we can be our own worst enemies when it comes to success.

I relay this webinar, not only because I think it is so helpful and has really set me towards the path I need to be on business-wise or purpose-wise, but because it was also how my day, today was set in motion.
After the webinar, Mette offered a 45 minute free business coaching chat with a select number of people who apply. She would read over the application and decide from your message whether or not you could or would be aided by a session with her. I filled it out, only half believing that she would accept it, and went on about my day with her words zooming around in my head.
I was accepted! I would be chatting with her February 25 at 11:30pm Alaskan time! I think I posted my enthusiasm twenty times on Facebook and Twitter ^_^

I woke up on the 25th to some issues in my apartment, dealt with them, then went back to bed. I didn’t want to literally wake up on the wrong side of the bed, so I went back, did some quiet meditation, checked my mood and made the decision to not let the aggravations of this morning effect the rest of the day. I snuggled the blankets and pillows, drew a card from my Fantastical Tarot deck and took a deep breath.

My card? The Queen of Wands. This was super significant as the Queen of Wands, especially in this , my favorite deck, is a card that I feel represents me. It is MY card. Today, this card came to me to remind me not to lose sight of who I am, my True Will, my Purpose in Life. What a beautiful card for today!

Around 4pm I did a meditation called Visualize a Message led by Holly Burger of Lightworkers Alliance and before I could even settle down in that meditation I got a message that I would need my agate with me. Confused but not willing to ignore that message, I stopped my meditation, got up and grabbed my agate off the bedside table where it sits with some petrified wood and my Buddhas and my Ganesh. I held the agate and did the meditation, I got some messages from my Higher Self and my Guides mostly about abundance and my Life Path, which I thought fitting for the things I’m dealing with now.

After the meditation I looked at my Agate and was asking myself, why did I need you? I looked at one of my crystal correspondence sheets, which had a TON of correspondences for agate but one by itself really stuck out to me. So I kept it in mind and held my agate and asked it if this was why I needed it near and it said yes. - Strengthens mind & body, provides courage. Assists one in recognizing truth and accepting circumstances. An amplifier of other crystals, especially during healing.
Just what I need right now!

So with all these messages I went forward to the voice chat with Metta Muller, excited and primed for change.

I'm not gonna share every babbling word of the hour with Mette, only the key points.

My Outer Work
These are the things I need to work on my business on the outside
1.) I need to find my Niche, what is is that I really want to focus on and where do I belong?
2.) I need to create a product that focuses on the end point, not the means of getting there

My Inner Work
These are the thought processes and mind sets that I need to work on
1.) My Relationship to Money
2.) Self-Doubt
3.) Self Worth and Inner Value

Part of my Inner Work, I created a Crystal Grid to help me with Self-Worth and all these changes I'll be making and I decided to share it here. Sorry the video is wonky and choppy, I'm new to this and no idea about editing ^_^
